Court Orders Nana Agradaa, Co-Accused to Submit Plea Bargain Terms by December 13

The Accra High Court has directed lawyers for Patricia Asieduaa, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, and her co-accused to formally file the terms of their proposed plea bargain at least three clear days before the next hearing scheduled for December 16, 2025.
The order was issued during Tuesday’s sitting on December 2, where defence counsel informed the court that negotiations with the Office of the Attorney-General were “far advanced.”
Prosecutors confirmed that the complainant, Pastor Emmanuel Appiah Fumum (known as Osofo Biblical), had been actively involved in the discussions and was present in court.
Case Background
Nana Agradaa faces charges under the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038) for allegedly broadcasting intimate images of Pastor Fumum on her television station and social media platforms without consent. The images were reportedly aired during a live program where panelists mocked the complainant.
She is currently serving a 15-year prison sentence in a separate fraud case.
Procedural Updates
Prosecution threatened to request a bench warrant for the second accused due to non-appearance, but withdrew after defence lawyers claimed they were not served with the hearing notice.
The Court Registry was ordered to ensure proper service before the next date.
Defence raised concerns over media interviews by the complainant discussing Agradaa’s prison conditions. The judge cautioned the prosecution to advise him against further public comments while the case is sub judice.
The plea bargain, if finalized and accepted, could lead to a reduced sentence or dropped charges in exchange for a guilty plea.
The case continues on December 16.
