China-Ghana Trade Volume Sees Significant Growth

$2 Billion Investment in Sentuo Oil Refinery Boosts Energy Sector

The bilateral trade volume between China and Ghana reached nearly $6 billion in the first half of 2024, marking a 13.3% increase from the previous year. This follows a successful 2023, where trade volume exceeded $11 billion, representing a 10.4% year-on-year increase.

China’s Ambassador to Ghana, Mr. Tong Defa, highlighted the strong partnership between the two nations, citing China as Ghana’s largest trading partner and primary source of investment.
