Chelsea Set to Appoint New Permanent Manager Within Days

Chelsea are expected to announce a new permanent head coach within the next few days as the club moves swiftly to replace Enzo Maresca.
Sources indicate that the appointment process will not be prolonged, with the club keen to conclude negotiations quickly and have the new manager in place as soon as possible.
Former Hull City boss Liam Rosenior is understood to be a strong candidate and features prominently on Chelsea’s shortlist. However, several high-profile names have been ruled out of contention.
Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is not expected to leave his current role until June, while Cesc Fàbregas remains fully committed to his project at Como. The club is also not pursuing so-called “star” managers, effectively ruling out the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Jürgen Klopp, and José Mourinho.
Chelsea’s leadership is said to be focused on appointing a coach who fits the club’s long-term vision rather than making a marquee signing, with an official announcement anticipated shortly.
