Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah’s Remarkable Journey: From England Youth to WAFCON Bronze with Ghana

Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, who represented England at the U-19 and U-23 levels, made a pivotal switch to play for Ghana, debuting for the Black Queens in April 2025.
Just four months later, on July 25, 2025, she scored at her first TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Casablanca, contributing to Ghana’s 4-3 penalty shootout victory over South Africa to secure the bronze medal.
Despite an early penalty miss in the shootout, her resilience helped the Black Queens clinch third place, marking her first international medal.
