The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has delayed payment of two allowances for November 2025. These mainly affect workers in the education sector.
A press release on November 25, 2025, said a technical problem happened during the final payroll check. To avoid delaying all November salaries for government workers, CAGD stopped processing the two allowances.
The department is fixing the issue. They promise the missing allowances will be paid with December 2025 salaries on December 18, 2025.
Cephas N. Dosoo, Head of Public Relations, spoke for the Controller and Accountant-General. He said sorry for the trouble and thanked the workers for their patience.
