Bodi SHS Converted to Full Boarding School, Headmaster Appeals to BECE Candidates
Bodi Senior High School in the Bodi District has been converted into a full boarding school, a development school authorities say will improve teaching, learning and discipline among students.
The Headmaster of the school, Mr Charles Kwadwo Dwiwornu, has announced that admission is currently in progress for the 2026/2027 academic year and is entreating all 2026 BECE candidates to select Bodi SHS as their school of choice.
Speaking during the announcement, the Headmaster noted that the conversion to boarding status will enable the school to better monitor students’ academic progress and instil the values of Quality Education, Discipline and Excellence that the school stands for.
He expressed appreciation to the Member of Parliament for Bodi, Hon Sampson Ahi, for his instrumental role in facilitating the processes that led to the school’s upgrade to a boarding institution.
“Bodi SHS is now fully equipped to receive both day and boarding students. We are calling on all BECE candidates, parents and guardians to consider Bodi SHS. We have the facilities, dedicated staff, and a conducive environment for learning,” the Headmaster stated.
The school, with the motto “Knowledge and Development”, runs both day and boarding programmes. Management says the upgrade will help decongest other schools in the region and provide more access to quality secondary education in Bodi and surrounding communities.
