Black Stars Begin Quest for AFCON Glory as Okraku Shows Support

The Ghana Black Stars have commenced preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers, with Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku making an appearance at their first training session in Accra. Okraku, accompanied by Vice-President Mark Addo and Executive Council member Samuel Aboabire, showed his support for the team at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 3, 2024.

With only 10 players in attendance, Coach Otto Addo is expecting the rest of the squad to join soon. The Black Stars face Angola in their opening qualifier at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 5, 2024, before traveling to Berkane, Morocco, to take on Niger on Monday, September 9, 2024.
