Black Sherif has been promoting the track with the slogan “Welcome to the Sunrise,” signaling a fresh start and a bright new phase in his career.
The release of “PopStar” follows a record-breaking year for Black Sherif, marked by significant achievements on the global music scene.
His 2025 album “Iron Boy” reached #1 on iTunes in Nigeria and became the highest-charting Ghanaian album ever in the US, UK, and Canada. He also received a nomination for Best International Act at the 2025 BET Awards, further boosting his international recognition.
