Bishop Salifu Amoako Addresses Son’s Involvement in Fatal Accident
On October 20, 2024, Bishop Salifu Amoako, Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, spoke to his congregation about the tragic accident involving his 16-year-old son. The incident, which occurred on October 12, 2024, in East Legon, resulted in the deaths of two young girls.
During his address, Bishop Amoako urged caution against jumping to conclusions, emphasizing that the accident was unintentional. He stated, “My son did not carry a gun to kill anybody. He involved himself in a terrible accident, and I am not the one who did it, nor his mother. It is my name; that is why people are talking.”
The accident involved a collision between a Jaguar driven by Bishop Amoako’s son and a Honda Acura, resulting in a catastrophic fire that claimed the lives of the two girls.
Bishop Amoako’s response has sparked debate, with some questioning his focus on personal frustration rather than acknowledging the severity of the tragedy.
