AshantiGold SC have sealed promotion to the 2026–27 Ghana Premier League with three matches to spare following an emphatic 4–1 victory over Skyy FC.
Their return to the topflight was mathematically confirmed after Ebusua Dwarfs suffered a 2–0 defeat away to Sefwi All Stars.
AshantiGold now sit comfortably at the top of the Zone Two standings with 58 points, holding an 11-point lead over second-placed Dwarfs, who have 47. With only three matches remaining and a maximum of nine points still available, the gap is now unassailable.
The Obuasi-based side’s dominant campaign has ensured their automatic qualification back into Ghana’s top-tier league, marking a significant milestone for the club.
Meanwhile, Port City FC have also secured promotion from Zone Three, completing part of the lineup for next season’s Ghana Premier League.
