Alleged Commercial Sex Worker Assaulted by Client in Sekondi

An alleged commercial sex worker operating in Sekondi has reportedly been assaulted by a client following a disagreement over payment and time spent.
The victim, a Nigerian national who identified herself as Nancy, told Connect FM’s Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson that the incident occurred last Friday night. According to her account, the man approached her to solicit her services, and the two agreed on a fee of GH¢50 for a short time before proceeding to the client’s residence.
Nancy explained that the situation turned violent when she informed the man that she was tired and could not continue after he allegedly exceeded the agreed time. She said the client then demanded a refund of the GH¢50, which she refused, insisting that she had already rendered the agreed service.
She further alleged that the man subsequently demanded her mobile phone, and when she declined to hand it over, he began to physically assault her.
Following the incident, Nancy reported the matter to the Sekondi Police. She said the police have issued her with a medical report form to seek treatment at a hospital, while investigations into the alleged assault are ongoing.
