Pastor and Wife Charged Over Fatal Accident

Accra, Ghana – Pastor Elisha Salifu Amoako, founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, his wife Mouha Amoako, and sales assistant Linda Bonsu Bempah have been charged with permitting an unlicensed person to drive.
According to the prosecution, the parents admitted to allowing their 16-year-old son to drive the vehicle to the gym. Linda Bonsu Bempah, a sales assistant, allegedly gave the car key to the minor.

Case Details:

– Accident occurred on October 12, 2024, at East Legon
– Two 12-year-old girls killed in the accident
– Three occupants rescued, two treated and discharged, one still receiving medical attention
– 16-year-old driver and occupant receiving medical attention

Investigation and Response:

– Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, visits bereaved family and injured
