Akosua Arhin Crowned Miss Malaika Ghana 2025 in Spectacular Grand Finale

20-year-old University of Ghana student Akosua Arhin has been crowned Miss Malaika Ghana 2025 after a breathtaking finale held at the National Theatre on Saturday, November 22.
Outshining nine other brilliant finalists, Akosua captivated judges and a packed audience with her grace, razor-sharp intellect, and a compelling vision to tackle youth unemployment through her flagship “4E Initiative: Empowering Youth Through Enterprise and Education.”
Under the theme “Defining the Future,” the 2025 edition showcased not just beauty but brains, culture, and purpose, with contestants excelling in cultural displays, policy debates, and high-stakes Q&A rounds.
Highlights of the Night
Cultural Segment: Delegates dazzled in traditional attire, celebrating Ghana’s rich heritage through dance and storytelling.
Intellectual Round (Top 5): Contestants dissected pressing national issues, from economic policy to social development.
Final Q&A (Top 3): Akosua sealed her victory with a powerful, data-backed proposal to establish vocational and digital skills hubs for young women.

Akosua’s winning project aims to train 500 young women in Greater Accra and Ashanti regions in high-demand skills, directly addressing the alarming youth unemployment rate that exceeds 25% in urban areas (GSS, Q2 2025).
In her emotional acceptance speech, she pledged:
“I am not just a queen of beauty. I am a queen with a mission: to turn unemployment into opportunity, one young woman at a time.”
The newly crowned Miss Malaika Ghana 2025 will officially begin her reign and project rollout in December.
