Agro Ne Fom” Protest: Group to Storm Jubilee House Demanding Kissi Agyebeng’s Removal

A coalition of Ghanaians is set to march to the Jubilee House today, Tuesday, November 25, in a fiery protest dubbed “Agro Ne Fom” calling for the immediate removal of Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng over alleged failure to deliver on his anti-corruption mandate.
Organised by Apostle Abraham Larbi Lincoln, the demonstration will see protesters clad in red, culminating in the presentation of a formal petition to President John Dramani Mahama urging him to terminate Agyebeng’s appointment.
“We are not doing this because we hate him. We want the Office of the Special Prosecutor either reformed or dissolved completely, and all staff removed,” Apostle Lincoln declared on Monday.
The group accuses the OSP of inefficiency, selective justice, and inability to secure major convictions despite high-profile investigations.
Adding fuel to the fire, private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu revealed that 15 separate petitions have been filed under Article 146 of the Constitution seeking Agyebeng’s removal — an unprecedented number for any public official under such proceedings.
“When was the last time you heard of anyone having 15 petitions against them? That tells you something is seriously wrong,” Kpebu remarked.
The protest comes amid growing public frustration with stalled corruption cases, including the GRA–SML scandal, where former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and others are under investigation.
President Mahama has yet to respond to the mounting pressure. The OSP has also remained silent on the allegations.
