“Adopt The Habit Of Patriotism, Stop Milking The Assembly”- CPP Chairman Tells Assembly Members
The former Ashanti regional chairman for the Convention People’s Party, Mr A.S Osei Yaw has called on the newly elected assembly members to avoid milking their assemblies.
He urged them all to be selfless and dedicated once they have been given the nod to serve.
According to him, some assembly members only go to the assembly to steal adding its very unfortunate.
On the other hand, the ardent political figure called on the EC to increase the number of committee members in each community so that they can work effectively.
“I will call on the newly elected assembly members to adopt the habit of patriotism, this is not the time to milk the assembly. They should be dedicated and patriotic”, he said.
“There must be unit committee members in each community constituting not less than nine members, combining some communities is very bad. This will help them work effectively to support the various assembly members”.
